Can I use a Suntour rear derailer on Campagnolo dropouts?
I have a 1976 Gitane racing bicycle, with simple desertion, which was very common in the middle to end high bicycle racing at the time. I would buy a Suntour Cyclone rear derailer the same time for it. I know that does not fit the simple abandonment, however this is easily modified to be identical with a Campagnolo dropouts (or so they say). So my question is: If I buy a Suntour Cyclone rear derailer GT on eBay, is in line with Campagnolo drop-out 70?
Suntour Cyclone derailleurs are very good quality, be equivalent to Shimano derailleurs from the same period. If abandonment can be modified to fit a Campagnolo derailleur, any high quality derailleur Suntour fit in well.
