I'm looking for the best (within a reasonable range $ $) bike ride of choice in Ireland!?
I can have the time available in July for do what I always wanted to do … A bike trip in Ireland! The problem is that I have never been to Europe let alone Ireland and do not know where to start. Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with this? Recommendations such as tourism companies, the route options (I keep hearing about the "ring of Kerry" for example), complete packages, the use of a U.S. against a local company in Ireland, where to stay before / after etc would be useful and appreciated! I have the best experience of a "reasonable" price. By this I mean that only have a few grand and spend a week, maybe a few days tops. vi, for example, a good set of full Trek Travel w / nights in castles nad such, but at $ 4-5k was beyond my reach. I only have one opportunity for this and want to get it right as best you can afford.
Hello – I have cycled across Europe and comes highly recommended by going it alone! This is what you do, wherever they come and go rent a good touring bike. This is relatively easy, but you should find out which company is closer to any airport. Bring your own bags. You do not need light, but make sure you have wet clothes with you. Use the bed and breakfast places to stay in place of the hotels as it is much cheaper. I cycle Kerry last year and this year I'm planning to Connemara. OS maps are great for Ireland and find the whole thing relatively easy to organize. Any questions Please send me an email.
